Port Engineer

Job Description

1. Ensure smooth vessel operations by monitoring and supporting technical performance
2. Plan, coordinate, and supervise docking activities to achieve on-time completion
3. Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdown
4. Analyze and resolve technical issues related to vessel machinery and equipment
5. Monitor vessel commissioning activities and ensure vessels meet operational standards
6. Evaluate crew performance and support continuous development of technical and soft skills
7. Coordinate with vessel crews, shipyards, contractors, and vendors regarding technical matters

Job Requirements

1. ATT III Certificate or Diploma/Bachelor's Degree (D3/D4/S1) in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
2. Experience in vessel maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting
3. Experience working in shipping companies, shipyards, or marine contractors
4. Familiar with measuring instruments, maintenance procedures, and equipment manuals
5. Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems and vessel machinery operations
6. Familiar with ISM Code and maritime safety regulations
7. Valid maritime certifications and seafarer documents are required
8. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
9. Willing to travel for business trips and vessel inspections
