Job description for Plastic Surgery Nurse at SW1 Clinic

We are expanding and we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Plastic Surgery team of Nurses
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Join a strong nursing team within ambulatory OT and clinic setting in Paragon Medical, Orchard Road
Out-patient:
• Assist out-patient clinic
• Provide patient education & counselling
• Patient care from initial consultation to confirmation of surgery to post-op follow up care
• Maintain consumables & medication stocks
• Build positive relationships with patients
Surgeries:
• Assume Scrub / Circulating Duties During Surgeries
• Maintain stocks & inventory of surgical consumables
• Upkeep of operating theatre and instrument sterility
Administrative Duties:
• Help in front-desk duties (pick up calls, register patients, schedule/manage appointments)
• Coordinate with external parties (ie. labs, hospitals, clinics & operation theatre) in the management of patients
• Assist all administrative duties relating to the smooth running of SW1
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma/ Degree in Nursing or equivalent & Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant operating theatre working experience as a Scrub Nurse
• Advanced diploma peri-operative nursing - advantageous.
• Initiative, driven and independent
• Excellent team player
• Excellent working attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Other Information
• 5.5 days work week
• Monday - Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Saturday: 9am - 1pm
• Working location: SW1 Paragon Medical Centre, Orchard Road
