Guest experience leadership
- Fully handle guest tables: greeting, menu introduction, order taking, food & drink service, billing, and farewell.
- Deliver excellent guest communication with warmth, knowledge, and professionalism.
- Upsell drinks, desserts, and special menu items to enhance guest experience.
Team guidance & training
- Mentor and guide junior waiters and bussers during shifts.
- Ensure grooming, service standards, and SOPs are consistently followed.
- Train team members on menu knowledge, upselling, and proper service flow.
- Operations & reporting
- Lead FOH setup and closing checklists.
- Track and report upselling targets and guest reviews.
- Escalate guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly.
- Support the Service Team Manager in rostering, scheduling, and floor performance.
What success looks like (first 12 months)
- Guests consistently highlight outstanding service in reviews.
- Service team shows steady improvement in grooming, upselling, and communication.
- Sales from upselling and review targets are consistently achieved.
- Service Team Manager can rely on Lead Waiters to run smooth shifts.
