Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with valid NURSING CERTIFICATION/LISENCE
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR) / Surgical Unit
- Experienced in assisting doctors during surgical procedures
- Skilled in preparing, organizing, and distributing medical instruments and surgical equipment
- Capable of managing medicine storage and medical supplies properly
- Able to perform IV insertion and infusion procedures
- Strong understanding of sterilization standards and operating room protocols
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work under pressure
- Willing to work in shifts, including night standby for inpatient monitoring when required
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Job Responsibilities
Pre-Operation
- Verify patient identity, surgical site, and operation markings
- Prepare surgical instruments, medical equipment, and medications before procedures
- Ensure operating room temperature and humidity are properly maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the operating room
During Operation
- Assist surgeons and medical teams during surgical procedures
- Provide surgical instruments and support operational needs during procedures
- Conduct instrument and medical equipment counting to ensure no items are left inside the patient’s body
Post-Operation
- Safely transfer patients back to recovery or inpatient rooms
- Clean, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and operating rooms
- Handle and dispose of medical waste according to healthcare regulations
- Provide standby/night shift assistance for patients requiring overnight inpatient care
