Role Overview:
The Marketing Communication builds brand awareness and engagement for PT Vortex Buana Edumedia's products, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Campaign Strategist. The role covers PR & media relations, content strategy, events, KOL/influencer management, community building, and strategic partnerships. This position has the potential to grow into a Team Lead role with its own team.
Key Responsibilities:
- PR & Media Relations
- Draft and distribute press releases for product launches, events, and company milestones.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media, and industry publications.
- Identify opportunities for media coverage and thought leadership.
- Monitor media mentions and compile media reports.
- Content Strategy
- Develop content strategy for blogs, newsletters, and thought leadership pieces.
- Write and edit engaging content for various communication channels.
- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure consistency of brand voice.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce compelling visual content.
- Event Management
- Plan and execute offline and online events (webinars, workshops, launches).
- Manage event logistics, vendors, and timelines.
- Develop event promotion strategies to maximize attendance.
- Compile post-event reports and measure event effectiveness.
- KOL & Influencer Management
- Identify and recommend KOLs/influencers that fit the brand.
- Manage relationships and communication with influencers.
- Coordinate campaign execution with influencers.
- Analyze influencer campaign performance and ROI.
- Community Management
- Build and manage online communities for Vortex's products.
- Develop community engagement programs and initiatives.
- Manage user-generated content and testimonials.
- Monitor community health metrics and sentiment.
- Partnership & Sponsorship
- Identify strategic partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
- Manage relationships with partners and sponsors.
- Prepare partnership and sponsorship proposals.
- Ensure partnership deliverables are met.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing Communication, PR, or Content Marketing; experience in the EdTech, Tech, or Startup industry is a strong advantage.
- Minimum bachelor's degree (S1) in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills in Bahasa Indonesia; good English (written & spoken) is a plus.
- Experience managing media relations and press releases.
- Experience organizing events (offline and online).
- Experience working with KOLs/influencers; a wide network of media and influencer contacts is a plus.
- Familiar with social media platforms and analytics tools; experience with tools like Hootsuite/Buffer and basic design skills (Canva, Figma) are a plus.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills; experience building/managing communities or in leadership/mentoring is a plus.
- Willing to work on-site (WFO) in Yogyakarta.
- Male candidates are preferred.
- Owns a personal vehicle (car or motorcycle); if not, must at least hold a valid SIM A (driver's license).
