Job description for Manufacturing Technician (Permanent) at ASIA SYNC NETWORK PTE LTD
Main Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage equipment to support daily production runs.
• Perform part or process conversions using validated recipes and parameters.
• Train Manufacturing Operators using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
(WIs).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve production line issues promptly.
• Conduct primary investigations and root cause analysis for process and output defects.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and consumables on the shopfloor.
• Perform precision measurements within specified tolerances and limits.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and manual chemical analyses.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in Semiconductor, PCB, or Substrate manufacturing preferred.
Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs/WIs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of MES and ERP systems is advantageous.
Competencies & Attributes:
• Certification in EHS, ISO Quality Standards, or Chemical Handling is an advantage.
• Independent and team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment with PPE and 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Willing to support overtime as needed.
• Good command of English communication skills.
