Finance & Accounting Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the financial management, governance, and reporting functions of our foundation. This is a strategic leadership role for a finance professional who combines technical excellence with a genuine commitment to social mission. You will safeguard the integrity of foundation funds, strengthen internal controls, and ensure full compliance with Indonesian non-profit accounting and tax standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead preparation and control of the Annual Work Plan and Budget (RKAT)
• Prepare financial statements in line with PSAK, SAK ETAP, and ISAK 35 (non-profit reporting)
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships
• Oversee organizational tax obligations (PPh 21, 23, 4(2), VAT, Corporate Annual Tax Return)
• Lead the external audit process toward an Unqualified Opinion (WTP)
• Develop and implement financial SOPs and internal control systems
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
• Provide strategic financial analysis and medium/long-term projections to support the foundation’s Strategic Plan (Renstra)
What You Bring
Education & Certification
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university; Master’s/MBA preferred
• Professional certifications a strong plus: CA (IAI), CPA, Tax Brevet A & B, CMA/CIA, or PSAK 45/ISAK 35 certification
Experience
• Minimum 6 years in finance & accounting, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience leading a team of at least 3 direct reports
• Foundation, non-profit, philanthropic, or donor-funded organization experience preferred
• Donor/strategic-partner financial reporting experience is a plus
Technical Skills
• Deep mastery of PSAK, SAK ETAP, and ISAK 35
• Strong command of Indonesian tax regulations for foundations
• Understanding of Foundation Law No. 16/2001 (as amended by Law No. 28/2004) and Good Foundation Governance (GFG) principles
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Accurate, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables)
• Strong written and verbal communication in Indonesian and English

Other Requirements
• Age 32–45 at appointment (exceptions for exceptional candidates)

• Willing to sign the foundation’s integrity pact and NDA
• Willing to travel to program locations and work extended hours during reporting/audit periods
