SHEFFIELD GREEN (ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven fresh graduate to join Sheffield as a Management Associate focused on developing business opportunities at the regional and global level. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to Sheffield’s business and commercial operations while working closely with senior management. This is a long-term development opportunity with the potential to progressively assume greater responsibility and develop into a Country Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
• Work with senior management to identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities regionally and globally.
• Support lead generation, market research, prospecting and client outreach in the specific countries identified by the management.
• Develop client relationships by establishing close rapport and trust with our esteemed clients
• Perform research on regional and global market trends, industries, competitors, clients and business opportunities.
• Develop knowledge of Sheffield’s recruitment, manpower supply, project staffing and workforce management services across Renewable Energy, Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Marine, EPC, Construction, Manufacturing and related industries.
• Assist with proposals, presentations, tenders, commercial submissions and client materials.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, networking and business development activities.
• Support the business development cycle from prospecting and relationship building through to opportunity development, negotiation and closing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address client requirements and support project delivery.
• Maintain CRM records and prepare business reports and market updates.
• Take increasing ownership of client relationships, business opportunities and commercial targets as capability develops.
Pre-requisites
• Currently studying or recently graduated from a local Singapore university; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong English language proficiency in both written and verbal communication. Proficiency in the Chinese language will be given additional consideration.
• Relevant internship, part-time or work experience is an advantage; academic qualifications alone will not be the primary consideration.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging clients and business contacts.
• Demonstrate business acumen and genuine interest in Business Development, Sales, Client Management and Commercial Strategy.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, adaptability and willingness to learn and take ownership.
• Good analytical, research, problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrates potential and ambition to develop into a senior Business Development or Country Manager role supporting the specific markets assigned by the management.
• Open to travel for work or to relocate to another country assigned by the management after completion of the Management Associate programme.
Development Opportunity
This position is intended as a long-term talent development opportunity within Sheffield. The successful candidate will receive close guidance and exposure to the Company's business development activities and will progressively develop their knowledge of Sheffield's services, clients, industries and commercial processes.
The initial training will focus on supporting business development activities in the region. As the candidate demonstrates the required capabilities, commercial judgement and performance, the role may progressively expand to include greater responsibility for client management, business development activities, commercial targets and the broader development of Sheffield's international businesses.
