Job description
The intern is an individual contributor tasked in supporting the Science and Research team on technical matters such as the software development of Machine Learning Operations systems and pipelines.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Science Team in software development of Machine Learning Operations systems and workflows.
- Conduct and communicating system testing with the team
- Partake in any other activities and/or projects as assigned
LEARNING OUTCOMES & OBJECTIVES
- Working experience in AI startup environment
- Time management and communication skills in working environment
- Skills in software development of Machine Learning Operations systems and workflows.
ARCHETYPES OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
- Good tertiary education in Computer Science, Data Science and/or related fields
- Strong communication and linguistic skills in both written and spoken English
- An analytical self-starter, team player with keen interest in startup ecosystems and the AI Technology space
- Possesses the ability to program and script in a language such as Python and communicate mathematical concepts clearly and simply to a layman audience
- Able to commit to the position for a minimum of 3 months
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge and hands on experience with Google Cloud AI and Bigdata technologies.
- Understanding of Machine Learning Workflows and Operations
- Moderate UI designing skills - (html, css ,javascript/jquey) would be a plus
