Job Responsibilities:
* Identify and acquire new customers who import goods from China to Indonesia.
* Promote and sell freight forwarding, customs clearance, and international shipping services.
* Provide customers with information regarding import procedures, shipping rates, and transit times.
* Prepare and submit quotations based on customers’ shipping requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term business partnerships.
* Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment processes.
* Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to customers.
* Achieve sales targets set by the company. Attractive incentives and bonuses are provided for exceeding targets.
Requirements:
* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Basic understanding of import processes and international logistics.
* Familiarity with logistics and shipping terms such as FOB, CIF, EXW, Air Freight, Sea Freight, LCL, and FCL.
* Ability to prospect and generate leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, networking, or face-to-face meetings.
* Sales-driven, target-oriented, and self-motivated.
* Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or sales is an advantage.
