Job description for Logistic Operation (Inbound) at Power Commerce Asia
- Manage the inbound loads and coordinate with production facilities for accurate arrival times
- Managing all daily dispatching duties
- Development of carrier scorecards and formalized, structured carrier business reviews
- Monitor Developments and New Technologies in Supply Chain Logistics
- Manage to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – empty miles, fuel cost per mile, cost per mile, payload, accessorial costs, miles, dwell time, equipment utilization (hours), on time delivery and temperature quality
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Participate in scheduled meetings as needed to stay abreast of company requirements and opportunities and keep the appropriate all company departments abreast of trends and changes in the logistics industry
- Resolving customer issues aligned with any service failures that arise
- Tracks and communicates revenue and performance results
- Budget and P & L responsibility
