About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Drafter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design concepts and construction reality. You will work on a diverse range of Architecture, Interior, and Custom Furniture projects, ensuring that all technical documentation meets the high-quality standards DPM is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting: Produce accurate architectural, interior, and custom furniture technical drawings.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed shop drawings, layouts, and construction documentation for both site and workshop fabrication.
- Quality Control (QC): Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and buildability.
- Coordination: Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to ensure design intent is perfectly translated into technical outputs.
- Site & Workshop Liaison: Bridge the communication between the design office and on-site/workshop teams to resolve technical queries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Open to fresh graduates or candidates with prior professional experience in architecture or interior drafting.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit, Sketchup, and AutoCAD is required.
Skillset:
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and construction detailing.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify potential errors or conflicts in design.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and translate them into clear, actionable technical documents.
Soft Skills:
- Proactive and eager to learn the intricacies of the design-and-build process.
