Job description for IT Support Exec-Immediate (Tuas/Min Dip/Constrution site) at The Blue Barrel Pte Ltd
Responsibilities:
- Assist End Users day to Day IT issues through calls and ticketing system “ServiceNow”.
- Manage and configure Network Printers / Plotters.
- Manage and Maintain Project Site office network infrastructure.
- Work with Global IT network team regards to any network changes or addons.
- Log IT ticket for new joiner IP phone software configuration and installation.
- Work with project contractors on all IT related setup, installation, etc
- Representing client to discuss any IT site-wide projects and installations.
- Manage Site office Biometric configuration and setup with vendors.
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for site office.
- Work on any IT related ad hoc project or enhancement for site office operation.
- Manage site office assets.
- Image new system and configure necessary software for new joiners.
- Liaise with vendors for any warranty repair work.
- Standby for meeting IT devices setup support.
- Ad hoc urgent IT purchases.
- 1st point of contact to users, clients, Contractors regards to IT matters.
- Troubleshooting of Network at site office.
- End-Users handheld support regards to accessing Jacobs applications.
- Attending to client’s IT request issue such as accessing company’s Application
- Involve with site-wide IT Related work, helping in investigating specifications, testing, discussion etc
- Work with Head Office IT for new laptop and hardware purchases.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma/Degree in computer sciences, information technology or related discipline
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software and OS (Windows)
- Experience in Windows server administration
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Competent at documenting standard/applications operating procedures
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
