Job description
Our IT services firm needs an IT Project Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a professional with experience in both of software development and project management. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative. He or she will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind.
Requirements :
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telco or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in IT industry as Software developer/ IT Manager /Project Manager for application development work
- Software development abilities preferred and technical skills knowledge (IT Project Management, Network & Security, business process ,etc)
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects in mining , financial and automation industry
- Excellent project management skill and strong ability to prioritize
- Have experience as software developer, system analyst, and ERP system is an advantages
- Strong in end to end IT Management and able to conduct planning and developing IT Department
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, planning and organizing
- Excellent in Communication skills, influencing and leading, delegation, team work, negotiation
- Team player, highly motivated to achieve set team targets and goals
- Willing to travel
Responsibilities :
- Manage IT teams by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures in IT Department
- Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Define project tasks and resources requirements, develop full scale project plans, assemble and coordinate project staff
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Manage projects through all phases – project initiation, requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, integration and testing, implementation, project closing, and post production support - With a proper sign off for each phase
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Deliver project on good quality and scheduled time.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
