Job description for IT Engineer L2 (12-month contract) at Singapore Business Guide Pte Ltd
JOB SUMMARY:
You will be stationed at NTC Client’s premise and provide support for client’s ITadministration and related support for users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides professional support to the end user and computer users, detecting flaw in the
computer hardware, software and other equipment’s, and repairing the same.
2. Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving the level one issues in computer hardware and software.
3. Installing and upgrading hardware’s and software’s and providing complete assistance while configuring hardware’s, software’s, and peripherals of the end user systems
4. Providing general desktop support, project coordination, imaging/ re-imaging PCs, and laptops
5. Resolving network related issues like local area connection problem, network access, mails, internet, etc.
6. Coordinating with the third-party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same
7. Providing assistance in installation of other peripherals like printers, scanners, etc., cabling systems like local area network cables, network interface cards, wired switches, etc.
Job Description
· Experience in mass deployment notebooks/desktops with or without assistance from deployment tools
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Application (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
· Working knowledge of office automation products and other computer peripherals, like video conference peripherals, projectors, printers and scanners
· Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
· Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques.
· Ability to plan and prioritize workload without supervision.
· Ability to prioritize, manage and perform under pressure
· Willing to work flexibly and with enthusiasm

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
· ITE/Diploma & above in Information Technology from recognized institutes.
· Experience as a Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role for about 2 to 3 years.
· Working knowledge in Server and Network
· Mandarin proficiency for dealing with Mandarin speaking clients
