*Please note that this internship lasts 6 months, and would require all candidates to commit to the full duration of this period.

About the Job
The Accounting Intern will be part of the Finance team in our Singapore Global HQ. Reporting to the Accounts Specialist, this role seeks a highly-motivated individual who’s independent and hungry to grow and learn in a fast-growing, global company. You will form part of the key group finance function, using our Finance brains to support the commercial success of the business.
The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude and is passionate about continuous process improvement, highly meticulous, and detail-oriented. You also love a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and maintain high energy levels in a constantly changing environment as you share our core values.
Responsibilities
- Support AP duties
- Record transactions into the system on a timely basis
- Liaise with suppliers and operations on invoices and payments
- Prepare AP aging report and Payment Run
- Prepare payments for invoices, staff medical and staff reimbursement claims
- Reconcile suppliers’ Statement of Account & follow up with disputed invoices
- Support month end close requirement
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned
Requirements
- Candidate is currently studying a degree in accounting
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to multi-task within very tight deadlines
- Meticulous with great initiative
- Proactive, independent, take initiative and well-organized
- Possesses Can-Do attitude & willingness to go the extra-mile
- Highly motivated professional with good problem-solving skills
- Collaborative team-player with continuous-improvement mindset
- Must be able to commit for 6 months
