Job description for International Transport Specialist at CÔNG TY TNHH PERSOLKELLY VIỆT NAM
Task Description
Booking fulfillment:
- Work with planners and make the volume forecast and plan the booking of shipments in ASEAN
- Manage booking IB/OB (ex: from other countries to Indonesia/Malay/Philippine...), make sure orders ship out on time
- Request spot quotations from time to time, negotiate with forwarders, arrange shipments and optimize transportation routes
E2E transport track & trace
- Proactiveness, i.e., actively monitor each single shipment into ASEAN, all transport mode, and actively identify the risk and propose solutions for risk mitigation
- Follow orders, inbound/ outbound delivery to ensure FIFO and utilization of the containers...
- Daily LSP Management (MBR with LSP, getting market updates, volume allocation, work with LSP for any issues & delay, container availability, loss & damage…)
- Escalation point for suppliers and internal customers for all the incoming shipments to APAC that has issue in booking, pickup or whatever issues
- Cost Control: cost forecast and analysis for cost optimization
- LSP onboarding & new route/ new transport mode implementation
- Customer interface for all questions/concerns about transport, cost topic, LSP issue, network design
- Manage all of reports about transportation, inbound, outbound shipments
- CIP for cost saving, process efficiency improvement or digitalization projects (dashboard, automation report…)
Qualifications:
- Major: supply chain/logistics or related business study
- At least 3 years of experience
- Good know-how in planning and warehouse would be a plus
- Strong in transport operation for air/sea
- Strong in communications, English is a must.
- Strong stakeholder management
- CIP mindset and improvement project
