Job description for Intern Teacher/Assistant Teacher (Tech) at Future Ready Academy

We are the education partner of Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy (CMRA) in Southeast Asia to deliver their curriculum and certification for both K-12 STEM education and Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET). Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM
Location: Jakarta, Tangerang, or Depok. Mostly on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and deliver training as required for various Future Ready Academy programmes.
- Organise and prepare lesson materials and logistics in advance before the lesson starts.
- Evaluate, assess, and report on students’ progress on a timely basis.
- Assess and document students’ progress with photo-taking and periodic report writing.
- Prepare and support marketing activities, including marketing collateral and events.
- Support administrative/event-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in education, psychology, engineering, computer science, and other related disciplines can also be considered
- Any experience in training, especially in technical or digital skills, will be a significant advantage
- Tech-savvy individuals with the ability to learn, adapt, and apply swiftly
- Strong interest in inspiring students through STEAM lessons/programs
- Patient, approachable, and possesses a passion for teaching kids and young adults
- Possess a growth mindset, adaptable and flexible
- Energetic, with a positive can-do attitude
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a high degree of professionalism (e.g. in appearance and conduct)
- Willing to work on a flexible schedule.
