Job description for Interior Designer at Saraga Indonesia
We are looking for Interior Designer with strong experience in residential projects, premium cabinetry, and built-in/ custom furniture. Experience in retail, cafe/ restaurant, or boutique spaces is a strong advantage.
You will work closely with our design & build team, contributing to concept development, material selection, technical drawings, and ensuring that design quality meets our high standards.
Responsbilities:
- Develop design concepts, moodboards, and layout proposals.
- Create accurate 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp (BIM software is a plus).
- Manage design & project with internal & external team (contractors, suppliers, etc.).
- Produce detailed drawings & material specifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Max 32 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture from a reputable university.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in interior design.
- Proven portfolio in residential, built-ins, or cabinetry projects.
- Proficient in SketchUp & AutoCAD, home styler, 3D rendering software.
- Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and construction details
- Updated with current interior trends, materials, color palettes, and product suppliers.
- Good sense of aesthetics, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail, kitchen, restaurant or boutique spaces is a strong plus.
- BIM software familiarity is a plus.
- Experience in premium/ high-end residential/ cabinetry projects is a strong plus.
- Small to medium scopes project management experience is a significant advantage.
