Job description for Interior Designer at Apex Sports Village
APEX Sports Village is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. We are seeking someone with a strong design portfolio and experience handling hospitality or large-scale commercial projects to help bring our vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative interior design concepts from initial planning through project completion
- Produce layout plans, mood boards, 3D renderings, technical drawings, and material specifications
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure design execution meets quality and timeline expectations
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design compliance
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and decorative elements aligned with the project concept
- Prepare design presentations and material proposals for management approval
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and design standards
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Interior Designer
- Proven experience handling beach clubs, fine dining restaurants, luxury hospitality, resorts, commercial spaces, or other large-scale projects is highly preferred
- Strong portfolio showcasing hospitality or commercial design projects (portfolio submission is required)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and/or 3ds Max
- Strong understanding of space planning, material selection, lighting, furniture specifications, and construction detailing
- Knowledge of local building regulations and construction processes is an advantage
- Excellent project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English is preferred
- Willing to be based in Uluwatu, Bali
