Job description for Implementation Manager at Autopay Global
We are seeking an Implementation Manager to lead merchant onboarding and payment service provider (PSP) integrations across APAC. This role ensures seamless delivery of our payment orchestration platform, balancing technical execution, regulatory compliance, and client success. The Implementation Manager will act as the bridge between merchants, PSPs, and internal teams, driving operational excellence and scalable launches.
Key Responsibilities
● Client Onboarding & Delivery
○ Lead end-to-end onboarding of merchants, ensuring smooth integration with multiple PSPs, acquirers, and alternative payment methods.
○ Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation, translating client requirements into actionable deliverables.
● Project Management
○ Own project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for APAC implementations.
○ Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations) to ensure readiness and accountability.
● Technical Integration
○ Oversee API integrations, sandbox testing, and validation of payment flows.
○ Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate blockers with clear documentation.
● Compliance & Risk
○ Ensure implementations meet MAS and other central bank regulatory requirements.
○ Conduct risk assessments, compliance checks, and quality assurance before go-live.
● Continuous Improvement
○ Capture lessons learned from each launch and contribute to playbooks and best practices.
○ Provide feedback to Product and IT teams to enhance orchestration capabilities.
Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in payments, FinTech, or SaaS implementations.
● Strong understanding of payment gateways, APIs, and orchestration platforms.
● Experience in managing multi-market rollouts and regulatory compliance.
● Project management certification (PMP, Agile) preferred.
● Executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
