Job description for HR Executive at Jurong Engineering Limited
- Coordinate closely with all parties, including the hiring departments and overseas offices on all activities related to employees’ mobilisation to workplace
- Prepare employment contracts, assignment letters and financial arrangement forms for employees being assigned to overseas projects
- Monitor and update staff mobilisation progress
- Monitor work pass records and apply/renew work passes for new hires/existing employees in Singapore office
- Issue employment certification letters and/or any other company letters required for travelling and PR application purposes
- Liaise with MOM and ICA with regards to work pass and immigration matters
- Provide administrative support to employees on quarantine order or other required procedures due to pandemic
- Handle matters pertaining to expatriation and repatriation of employees
- Assist in staff orientation and onboarding processes
- Improve and refresh HR processes / programs related to employee onboarding, employee engagement, employer branding, etc
- Administer web-based Employee Data Management System (EDM)
- Provide support in other HR-driver projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline, preferably Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Proactive team player and fast learner
- Creative, resourceful and possess problem-solving aptitude
- Meticulous with excellent planning and coordinating skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of discretion to handle confidential information
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
