Flokq started with an idea to make people feel at home in a city with overwhelming opportunities, ever-reducing space and increasing isolation. Job Overview:
Working across all of Flokq’s available properties, to perform tasks in ensuring the properties are ready for listings and tenant viewings, such as:
Tasks:
- Review and manage the Home Requirements checklist and perform fixes and prioritise tasks that need actions to ensure properties are ready for tenancy
- Arrange appointments and meet cleaners and handymen to conduct generaIl repairs and maintenance such as patching walls, painting walls, assembling furniture and blinds, basic plumbing, getting keys cuts and locks changed
- Work with Content Team to arrange photoshoots and virtual reality tours and document/educate about lighting and such within the properties and assemble props for opening apartments/rooms and common areas
- Work with the Property Acquisition Team to ensure the owners are informed about any major fixes or repairs that need to be performed
- Communicate with Tenant Sales team to ensure prospective tenants are pre-informed of any shortcomings that need attention
- Travel between Flokq properties to conduct assessment and create a home readiness checklist
- On occasion, attend to pre-viewing requirements, outside of business hours (including weekends)
- Able to think like an interior designer and have the tenacity of a hotel housekeeper
Prerequisites:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree from Hospitality major
- 4-6 years working experience in related fields
- Good operations/program management skills
- Work well within a team or independently
- Hard working, responsible, proactive, and willingness to support the business
- Ability to identify areas for improvement, and not afraid to speak up when you have an idea
- Multi-skilled and have previous experience with domestic property maintenance
- Having a sense of aesthetics and interior designs is a big plus
