Location: Buba Tea – Canggu, Bali

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Hand Roll Chef to join our team and help launch our new premium hand roll concept. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, take pride in quality, and like working in a clean, organized environment, we'd love to meet you.

Employment

6 working days per week

Working hours will be scheduled according to operational needs.

Responsibilities

Prepare sushi rice and daily mise en place.

Prepare fresh hand rolls according to Buba Tea standards.

Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation.

Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Monitor ingredient freshness and minimize waste.

Assist with inventory control and communicate stock shortages.

Support the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sushi Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Staff is preferred.

Basic knowledge of sushi rice preparation and Japanese food is an advantage.

Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsible, reliable, and punctual.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Good teamwork and communication skills.
