Job description
Responsibilites :
• Support in the strategic development of our Supply Chain with special focus on Cylinder Asset related matters.
• Ensure an efficient and effective placement of the Cylinder Asset across WSS's network in accordance with Customer Demand
• Ensure the planned and proposed investments in Cylinder Asset is accordance with growth in Customer Demand, outflow/inflow of cylinders and end of useful life of the Assets.
• Ensure the replenishment is at the lowest possible purchase price for WSS's Cylinder Asset.
• Responsible for coordinating and managing any Risk and Legal disputes arising from ownership or casualty relating to the Cylinder Asset, in cooperation with Corporate Legal responsible.
• Participate and follow-up on customers' compliance to the cylinder business models and secure correct administration of the Cylinder Assets in customers' possession.
• Focus on continuous improvement, create and maintain operating standards for personnel working with cylinder related matters / activities in our Network.
• Ensure Programs, Processes and Procedures that apply to personnel in both Supply Chain Operations and Cylinder Commercials are understood and followed.
• Ensure that any systems attached to the Cylinder Assets or Cylinder Business are fit for purpose and utilised by both Supply Chain Operations and Cylinder Commercials.
• Contribute for the maintenance of the cylinder assets according to the International Gas and Refrigeration Filling Agreement at the optimum cost level.
• Drive and ensure control of cylinder assets to reduce discrepancies, including periodic control of Cylinder Asset on hand and in the customers' possession.
• Support the Business stream in any development of new business initiatives concerning the Cylinder Asset.
• Ensure operational readiness through alignment with Business Streams attached to any new or changed cylinder related offers.
Requirements :
• Minimum Degree in Finance or Business Administration or similar discipline.
• Experience in managing sizeable and dispersed Assets for Hire, preferably in the Maritime Markets.
• At least 6 years’ of relevant working experience in a similar position or from a Compressed Gas industry.
• Ability to act on initiative in either proactive or reactive manner.
• Good interpersonal, influencing and networking skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
