Job description for FULL-TIME CHINESE INTERPRETER BASED IN SINGAPORE - ELITE ASIA at Elite Asia
ELITE ASIA is currently looking for CHINESE INTERPRETERS who are willing to work Full-Time in Singapore.
Countries around Asia like Hong Kong, Malaysia, China mainland, Indonesia and many more, are welcome to apply for this job.
Competent Interpreters must be eloquent in the following languages:
● Chinese <> English
Job Responsibilities:
● Interpret between a wide range of people with diverse voices, accents and personalities
● Providing parties with clear and exact translations of written materials and interpretations of verbal communication
● Imparting thoughts, purpose, spirit, emotions and tone of speakers from source language into target language
● Honor outlined ethical codes to ensure sensitive and confidential information remain secure and protected
Job Requirements
● Experienced in Translation is also an advantage
● Excellent bilingual communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
● Proficient enunciation and pronunciation skills with pleasant voice
● Good understanding of cultural sensitivity and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
● Minimum 2 years of experience in translations and interpretations
● Comfortable with working on-site and remotely (phone interpreting)
● Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Required skills
● Fluent in Chinese & English
● Experienced in Simultaneous and Consecutive Interpreting (as a full time or freelance)
