Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and improving electrical systems and components required to build electric motorcycles for Scorpio Electric, to make sure that we are able to produce high quality electric motorcycles in an effective, efficient and safe manner for all riders across South-east Asia.
To do that, you will:
Manage electrical engineering systems road-map for automotive vehicle and IoT devices
Design and integration of power electronics and motor systems
Specify and improve RF systems and different cellular radios
Improve battery design and electrical drive of e-motorcycle
Work on signal and communications between electrical components
Prepare technical analysis and specifications of different electrical sub-systems
Participate in the QA/QC process in checking electrical systems from manufacturers
Requirements:
As a growing company with a small team, we work closely together to drive towards a common goal of reducing pollution and congestion. Therefore, we will need individuals who loves a challenge, own the work that they do and constantly punch above their weight at work.
You should have:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge in electrical motor control and power electronics
Experienced in equipment engineering specifications and communication signaling
Experienced in RF Engineering and radio certification
Experienced in Project management is preferred
Familiar with automotive and industrial standards, electrical codes and practices
An effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
Must have skills
