Job description for Finance Manager at Infolog Pte Ltd
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and timely month-end and year-end closing by the finance team.
- Review financial statements, management reports, cash flow reports, and other financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process, including business performance reporting.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for Japan Headquarters, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with Group reporting requirements.
- Prepare financial analysis, management reports, KPIs, and business insights to support the Director's strategic and operational decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring audit readiness, timely completion of audits, and implementation of audit recommendations where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, and maintain effective internal controls and finance policies.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team while driving continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with supervisory or managerial experience.
- Prior experience in the logistics, warehouse automation, or IT industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and internal controls.
- Experience overseeing month-end and year-end closing, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) will be an added advantage.
- HR and payroll experience will be an added advantage.
