Job description for Finance Accounting and Tax Officer at Sermorpheus
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance, Accounting, and Tax Officer to manage all financial, accounting, and tax-related matters. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing financial records, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee tax compliance, and reporting activities, including preparation and submission of tax report and other related filings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
- Conduct regular financial analysis and forecasting to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement, as needed
- Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures related to financial and tax-related matters
- Provide financial advice and guidance to other departments and senior management as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Brevet AB certification is preferred
- 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax-related roles
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Jurnal.id/Xero accounting and tax system, such as: A, B
