Job description for Fashion Design Production & Inventory Executive at SABRINAGOH
Responsibilities:
Full-Time Junior Merchandise and Inventory Executive is responsible for merchandise, fashion production plans, inventory for online/ retail stores stock management, and sales performing necessary administration to promote, support, and sustain the brands & concept / online stores:
- The candidate is expected to maintain day-to-day operations, including merchandise planning for all stores. As our team is small, the candidate needs to be highly versatile and flexible to respond to ever-changing environments, needs, and demands.
- The candidate is expected to work closely with Directors on apparel production, and inventory management and meet projects deadlines.
- Candidate is expected to manage and oversee corporate and institutional projects, including but limited to: researching, organizing, stock and production planning, presentation, coordinating and attending all necessary meetings and following through from beginning to completion.
- Attending to customers’ requests and requirements online, supervising delivery for online and retail stores whenever necessary, and coordinating private events like Boutique Fairs, VIP preview nights, etc.
- Ad-hoc delivery to stores whenever necessary.
- Updating the website and maintaining the company’s database to ensure daily records, generating sellthrough metrics, and inventory quantity is up to date.
- Production material preparation includes but is limited to data entry to the bill of materials (BOM), trim buying, purchase order preparation, managing incoming new stocks from production, generating barcodes and printing, and preparing the stocks to send out to stores.
Requirements:
- Required skill(s): Fashion merchandise/inventory planning, production planning, knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, knowledge in HTML & website content management interface, Shopify will be to the candidate’s advantage.
- Able to write and speak Mandarin.
- A strong interest in Fashion is a must.
- The candidate has to be proactive, motivated, self-directed, and independent.
- The candidate has to be detail-oriented, highly organized, and a fast learner.
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a good attitude, and is able to work independently and as a team.
- Candidate may be required to travel to meet buyers and oversee retails store merchandise performance.
