The National Institute of Education (NIE) invites suitable candidates to join the Office of Teacher Education (OTE) as an Executive (Programme Administration & Management).
Key Responsibilities
The Executive will support the Manager, Programme Administration & Management in the planning and management of initial teacher preparation programmes in the Office of Teacher Education (OTE). The position facilitates and supports the programme administration of Degree programmes, to ensure the smooth running of the programmes.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to email enquiries;
- Timetabling and course allocation;
- Collating programme feedback;
- Assisting with Board of Examiners’ meeting matters for the Assistant Dean, Degree;
- Assisting Assistant Dean, Degree and note-taking on academic counselling;
- Managing and updating admission FAQs;
- Updating programme structures in the IT system;
- Updating the programme handbook;
- Preparing academic programme for upgraders and out-of-sync students;
- Course matching for outbound semester exchange students;
- Liaising with various departments in NIE and coordinating meetings;
- other duties required to support the degree programme at NIE.
Requirements
- A Polytechnic Diploma.
- At least four years of relevant work experience in student support and/or programme administration, preferably in a tertiary educational institution.
- Strong in administration and organizational skills.
- Meticulous.
- Motivated, resourceful, able to work independently and as a team player, under pressure.
- Good interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, experience working in a digitalized environment.
- Experience in operations and/or management especially in an education institution would be an advantage.

Other Information
