Job description for English Teacher at English 1 (HS Group)
English 1 (HS Group) is looking for passionate and committed educators!
As an English Teacher at English 1, you will work with students from 3 to 18 years old. Your students are an enthusiastic, fun-loving bunch, full of energy and ready to learn. Not only will you get to have fun with your students, but you will also get to know them and watch them learn and grow. Your students will vary in language proficiency and personality.
Core responsibilities
- Teaching English to kids from 3-18 years old in groups of up to 16 students
- Using electronic media and English 1-developed courseware to teach English efficiently and effectively
- Planning and delivering lessons
- Maintaining student and class records
- Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents
- Assisting in the placement testing and interviewing of new students
- Participating in social activities with students organised by the school to encourage oral English proficiency
Essential qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree holder (Preferably in English Education/English Literature)
- At least C1 English proficiency
- Experienced in teaching 3-18 years old for a minimum of 2 years
- Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office Package)
- Living around South Jakarta or willing to relocate to South Jakarta
