Job description for Engineering Officer (Mandarin Speaker / Product Preparation) at TUFFINDO NITTOKU AUTONEUM
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field
Min. 3 years’ experience in automotive manufacturing (Project Engineer / Product Preparation)
Fluent in Mandarin & English (spoken is a must)
Proficient in design tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) with knowledge of tooling design (jig, fixture, mold)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes & quality tools (FMEA, Flowchart, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic environment
Basic understanding of HSE practices
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Define critical product characteristics based on customer requirements
Design and develop tooling, jigs, and check fixtures for new projects
Analyze similar products/processes to identify risks, improvements, and sourcing strategies
Review and optimize process design and parameters to ensure quality and efficiency
Prepare and monitor tooling fabrication schedules and project timelines
Support tooling trials, mold trials, and new product development activities
Manage material preparation, including BOM creation and trial requirements
Coordinate purchase requests and ensure material readiness for trials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production & Process Engineering
