Velox Tech was established in Norway in 2018 and today holds 8 employees in Norway, 11 employees, and 3 interns in Vietnam.
We are expanding our business in Vietnam and we are looking to hire employees to work at our office in the center of Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa.
The management is European, and all documentation and internal communication will be in English, therefore we require a high level of English understanding.
Our business consists of R&D services for large international corporations as well as smaller, local companies. We are also developing our own products that we will manufacture to be sold worldwide.
We are building a team in Nha Trang that can support and work on projects together with our staff in Norway, and to work on projects in Vietnam or other regions.

Due to expansion, Velox Tech is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer / C/C++ Software Developer from an Embedded Development environment to work as part of a growing multi-disciplinary R&D team developing innovative products.
The role of Embedded C/C++ Software Engineer entails the designing, developing, testing and documentation of code to a high quality that meets the requirements, working on new Sensor Development R&D projects associated with detectors, visual, image processing, etc..
Embedded Software Engineer requirements:
• Embedded Linux software development experience.
• Fluent C programming skills.
• Network programming experience.
• Experience of source code control systems (Git or similar).
• Experience in the full development life cycle of high volume or industrial electronic products.
• Idea generation and execution, mostly unsupervised.
• Hands-on aptitude, strong debugging, and system analysis skills.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor or Masters's degree in Computer Science, IT, Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
It would be desirable if you have an understanding of the following:
• ARM Cortex family of processors.
• Image processing and digital video.
• Video compression technologies like HEVC, H.265, etc.
• Real-Time Operating Systems, (RTOS).
• Video and data streaming protocols.
• RS32, RS485, USB, TCP, UDP communications.
• Familiarity with microcontroller peripherals e.g. GPIO, DMA, ADC, Timers, etc.
• Experience with real-time/low-level software.
• Component test harnesses.
• Bug tracking and debugging tools.
The main accountabilities of the role include :
• Research, design and develop software solutions for new and existing products to meet the requirements of both the customer and the management.
• Ensure new code and updated code is fully tested with no regressions.
• Provide full technical documentation for allocated projects and provide support for those projects where future design changes are required.
• Ensure product designs and code conform to all relevant standards on safety, functionality, and performance.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
