WIZ is looking for a full-time Video Editor to create short-form videos for ads and social media.
This role is for someone with at least 1-2 years of experience in video editing, especially short-form content. You should understand pacing, hooks, text, audio, color, and how to turn scripts into engaging visual stories.
We’re looking for someone who edits with intention, not just follows trends, and is curious about why good videos work.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for ads and social media
- Turn scripts into clear, engaging visual stories
- Choose footage, pacing, text, audio, color, and BGM with intention
- Build strong hooks, smooth flow, and key moments that land
- Improve edits based on performance data
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Video Editor
- Strong short-form video portfolio
- Good understanding of pacing, text, audio, and color
- Able to edit with intention, not just follow trends
- Curious about why good videos work
- Comfortable with a hybrid working arrangement
