Job description for Drafter at Go-Mandor
Location: Bali, Indonesia
A. Structural Drafting
Create Structural Drawings: Produce detailed drawings for foundations, columns, beams, trusses, floor framing plans, roof framing plans, and all structural connections for various materials (steel, concrete, timber, etc.).
Detailing: Develop precise sections, elevations, and connection details based on calculations and sketches provided by a Structural Engineer.
Compliance: Ensure all structural drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
Reinforcement: Prepare rebar schedules and concrete detailing for reinforced concrete structures.
B. MEP Drafting (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)
Mechanical Systems: Draft plans for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, including ductwork layouts, equipment schedules, and piping schematics.
Electrical Systems: Prepare electrical plans showing power distribution, lighting layouts, fire alarm systems, and telecom/data layouts.
Plumbing Systems: Create detailed drawings for water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and fire protection systems (sprinklers).
Equipment: Detail the placement and connections for various MEP equipment.
C. General Drafting & Coordination
Software Utilization: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (like AutoCAD and Revit/BIM) to produce, modify, and manage all drawings.
Coordination: Collaborate with architects and engineers (often remotely) to resolve design clashes and ensure the structural elements and MEP systems are fully coordinated with each other and with the architectural plans.
Revision Management: Maintain an organized system for drawing files, revisions, and submittals, incorporating redline markups accurately and promptly.
Documentation: Assist in preparing material lists, drawing indexes, and other technical documentation as required for submittal packages.
