Job description for Director of Retail Business Development at Gavy Pte. Ltd.
Gavy is a mobile accessories brand with presence in Malaysia and Singapore. We are hiring an individual to lead our efforts in expanding our brand to Indonesia. You will be expected to identify potential partnerships with local distributors and chain stores.
Job Role
- Generate leads through direct outreach, industry networks, trade events, and referrals.
- Research and map the Indonesian distribution and retail landscape.
- Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective distributors, wholesalers, and retail chain partners.
- Profile and assess each prospect for fit, reach, financial standing, and market reputation.
- Secure and run one-to-one meetings with decision-makers at target companies.
What We're Looking For
- Track record in lead generation and partner sourcing within consumer electronics, mobile accessories, or FMCG.
- Existing network among Indonesian distributors and retail buyers.
- Comfort with cold outreach and opening doors from scratch.
- Business-level profiency in English is required, and familiarity with Mandarin is preferred.
