Job description for Demand Planner at Primer Kenrich Sdn. Bhd.
A Demand Planner is responsible to lead the entire supply chain management process. This person is analytical and is able to use statistical data to predict products demands. This role is essential to oversee stock inventory, logistics and internal audit processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages and leads the entire supply chain management process: Planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics and business compliance.
- Oversees organization wide management strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and evaluation of services
- Manages 3rd party logistic service providers and coordinates the warehousing process including Execute the entire demand planning process including supply / demand forecasting, life cycle planning, inventory management, distribution planning and executing customer and supplier collaboration process
- Manage inventory levels for all SKUs, categories and total levels in line with targets for both warehouse and channel.
- Provides analysis and solutions for overcoming shortfall from target.
- Conducts regular meetings with internal departments to review project, production and procurement updates.
- Checks internal procedural flow of activities and documents are met within timeline.
- Develops and implements new systems, best practices, inventory control, demand planning, and other optimizations for business growth.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years in a Supply Chain & Planning Management role
- Significant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics operations and Retail Operations
- Proficient in Excel and highly analytical to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and is able to communicate effectively to liaise with team, management, third party suppliers and internal/external customers
- Have leadership qualities and is able to lead a small team in a fast pace environment
