Job description for Data Coordinator (LCI / Tagging) - 12 Months / Tuas at QuEST Global Services Pte Ltd
Roles & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Engineering Department, the incumbent will be responsible to serve as key communication point between client, IT, engineering, procurement and commissioning team to support Data and Documentation for Operation (DFO) and Vital Document and Data (VDD) activities and transfer client’s information management database/ completion system in a project.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with Information Manager to submit data related to Technical Queries (TQ), as well as to manage and maintain Master Tag List for various engineering disciplines in a project to comply with tagging requirements
- Responsible for overseeing tagging requirements and association for engineering and supplier documentation/ drawing, checking requirements for data properties and ensuring tagging is appropriate to the ‘type of tag’
- Participates in discussion and meeting to understand client and internal project requirements for data collection, reporting and turnover, as well as to provide update and status on data turnover and final delivery/ handover
- Ensures tags associated to the documents are progressively built in the Client’s information management system master tag database, checking and verifying the quality of the imported tags and data attributes
- Coordinates with section lead to resolve inconsistent, missing, or incorrect tag and data information, and responsible for the maintenance of log for data issues and project resolution
- Creates data completion (progress) and quality reports in Client’s information management system as per project requirement, providing weekly report on progress, issues and other arising matters
- Participates in seminars and other educational opportunities to keep abreast of latest technologies and development in project management information system, recommending process improvement
- Responsible for system maintenance and performance upgrade, liaising with IT team members, as required to provide system enhancement for efficient and accurate data support
- Monitors and analyses occurring and recurring problems, developing trends to identify critical and common problems, justifying areas for further improvements
- Consolidates feedbacks from stakeholders, providing professional response to improve project information management system delivery processes, tools and service capabilities
- Leads, develops and mentors team members to achieve functional objectives
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in project information management
- Familiar with project information management system related software (i.e. Aveva NET, SmartPlant Enterprise, and etc.)
- Experience with data or document related software (i.e. PIM, iDocs, Project Tools, and etc.) and able to assist in create progress and quality reports in Clients’ Information Management system
- Knowledge and experience in Data and Documentation for Operation (DFO)/ Vital Document & Data (VDD) activities for the project
- Knowledge of tagging requirements in capital projects and able to perform verification, quality checking as well as import tags and data attributes into Client’s Information Management System
- Knowledge and experience in various project life cycle information systems for meeting client’s document and data tagging requirements
- Ability to work with supplier/ contractors

- Islandwide transport provided with return trip at employees cost
- Mon-Thu: 7.30am – 5.15pm; Fri: 7.30am – 4.15pm
