Job description for Data Centre Cleaning Technician at Data Clean Asia Pte Ltd
Join our team as a Data Centre Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness in data centres and cleanrooms, assist with installations, manage warehouse housekeeping, and support deliveries. This hands-on role offers learning and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in data centres and cleanrooms, including vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and controlling dust to maintain high cleanliness standards
• Assist with installation and support activities at customer sites to ensure smooth operations
• Load and unload equipment and materials to support deliveries efficiently
• Maintain warehouse and storage areas by organizing and cleaning to ensure a safe and orderly environment
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and correctly to prevent damage and ensure effective cleaning
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock, damaged equipment, or maintenance issues promptly to supervisors
• Follow all workplace safety, cleanliness, and operational procedures to comply with company standards
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
• Ability to perform manual work safely and effectively
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
• Ability to communicate in English for clear coordination and reporting
• Willingness to work overtime, including after office hours and weekends, when required
• Responsible, reliable, honest, and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team
Preferred competencies and qualifications
• CSOC/BCSS certification (advantageous for compliance and safety standards)
• Class 3 Driving Licence and relevant experience (may be considered for higher positions)

Working Hours
• Monday to Saturday: 9am to 6pm with 2 additional off days every month
