Position Summary
The Creatives Associate II / Creative Designer applies a diverse skill set across videography, graphic design, animation,photography, and production management to uphold and evolve the brand standards and creative identity of TELUS Digital. The role supports both internal and external campaigns through high-quality, on-brand art direction and creative execution.
This position is responsible for concept development through to final implementation, translating marketing strategies and campaign objectives into compelling visual solutions. The Creative Associate II collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, effective assets across multiple creative programs, ensuring consistency, impact, and alignment with the company’s brand.
Functional Responsibilities
1.Works on design projects from concept through production and delivery, ensuring schedules, proofs, approvals, production plans, file preparation and job archiving have been properly executed
2.Creates, revises, and develops attractive and effective designs for communications and branding materials for a variety of media outlets such as print, video, web, and social media to tell our story
3.Preserves, protects, and upholds brand standards, while developing and advocating best practices in design
4.Creates facilities designs that reflect our fun, caring company culture
5.Conducts photo and video coverage for events and productions, and helps manage photo and video archives as needed
6.Delivers high quality, on brand, scalable graphic solutions and ensures consistent quality content is delivered on time, every time
7. Collaborate with the CorpComm team, other internal and external partners, vendors, and clients in a professional manner
Technical Skills
● Must be adept with Adobe Creative Suite
● Intermediate to advanced Adobe Photoshop required
● Intermediate to advanced Illustrator (graphic design) required
● Intermediate to advanced Adobe Premiere Pro (video editing) required basic to intermediate
● Intermediate to advanced After Effects (animation) nice to have
● Intermediate to advanced video shooting and production management capabilities
● Basic to intermediate Canva skills
● Exceptional capability with typography, layout, and prototyping
● Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
Other Skills
● Ability to work independently within a defined scope of responsibility
