Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs to ensure profitability.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cost analysis and prepare comprehensive cost reports.
- Analyze inventory movements, stock variances, and wastage, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Verify purchase orders, invoices, and supplier pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor recipe costing and menu profitability, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Kitchen, and Finance teams to maintain effective inventory control.
- Review production and consumption reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis related to operational costs.
- Investigate discrepancies in inventory and cost reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Support month-end closing by preparing accurate cost-related reports and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cost Control Officer, preferably in the F&B, hospitality, bakery, restaurant, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food costing, and cost accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions.
- Experience using ERP, POS, or inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and problem-solving ability.
- Willing to conduct routine stock opname and operational audits.
