This is a role within the Community team with the opportunity for exposure in different sectors and functional roles. Since 2017, the TNB Innovation Program team has been working on programmes that will enable our cities and beyond. Our programmes cover multiple sectors of Built Environment, Cybersecurity, Maritime, Sustainability, and others.
As a Community & Events Executive, you will be involved in building and maintaining community networks that TNB has. Your main job is to support the Innovation Program team in the operational aspects of our programs – from project coordination to stakeholder communications, marketing and events preparation and execution, and more.
· Knowledge or experience working with corporate, government agencies, start-ups and the ecosystem is a plus
· Understanding of technology or past experience with corporate innovation or incubation is a plus
· Able to work independently and is hands-on and execution minded.
· Strong stakeholder management skills and enjoy working with people.
· Good communications skills
· Confident and able to lead communications activities with stakeholders.
· Must have strong writing, excel, and PowerPoint skills.
· Able to execute digital marketing activities.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Marketing & Communications
Crafting of communications with stakeholders – including writing and designing social media posts.
Program website + CRM access and management – ensure website is constantly updated with latest news and updates
Fully manage social media channels that TNB has, including but not limited to the following:
Facebook
LinkedIn
Twitter
· Event Planning and Execution
Plan and curate content and programme of program-related events
Ensure events are well-attended and objectives are hit.
Manage event registrations, operations and logistics
Manage business match-making of corporates with start-ups
· Program / Project Management
Assist program team in day-to-day relationships with clients, corporates and start-ups
Assist program team in marketing & events related work
· Build & Maintain Start-ups Portfolio
Helm the start-up scouting process through relevant research
Intensive research on the type of start-ups required for program participation.
Work with quality start-ups and add them into TNB's community
· Other tasks involved to work with program team to ensure the programs are well-delivered on time and on budget
