Job description for Communication and Marketing Assistant at French Chamber Of Commerce In Singapore
On behalf of one of our clients in the education sector, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Communication & Marketing Assistant
Under the supervision of the Asia-Pacific Communication & Development Manager, the Communication & Marketing Assistant is in charge of developing, executing, and monitoring the marketing strategy for the institution in Singapore, and support in all aspects the group’s online and offline marketing in the Asia-Pacific region.
This job will commence in January 2023.
Tasks:
Singapore
- Prepare marketing plans for social media and other channels together with your line Manager;
- Execute, monitor and follow up of all marketing projects;
- Gather data, analyse marketing strategies, and propose adjustments as needed;
- Manage content creation; think creatively to come up with engaging and varied content;
- Assist in taking pictures and videos on special occasions, at outings, etc.;
- Select and edit the pictures as necessary, taking particular attention to authorisation rights;
- Design engaging visuals and collaterals, such as posters, banners, flyers, newsletter, templates, etc.;
- Ensure consistency and respect of the Odyssey group branding across all our publications and collaterals;
- Regularly check out groups, pages, sites where our school is mentioned and report any abnormal activity to your line Manager;
- Analyse traffic on our website / ads, offer suggestions for improvement;
- Assist and liaise with an external agency to manage SEO capabilities;
- Copywriting: participate in writing articles and searching for interesting articles on themes related to our sector of activity;
Regional (APAC)
- Liaise with the teams outside Singapore to collect the relevant information, prepare content for proofreading and publish on social media;
- Select and edit the pictures as necessary and make video montages;
- Ensure that all photos and documents are correctly classified and up-to-date;
- Keep a record of all the communication published, online and offline;
Reporting Line: Report to the Asia-Pacific Communication & Development Manager and to the Asia-Pacific General Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Communications or Marketing preferred
- Excellent capacity to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Indesign and Premiere Pro) and Wordpress would be a plus.

- Desired personal traits: Always punctual, dynamic, self-motivated and proactive, great attention to detail, able to set up priorities strategically and independently.
