Job description for Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Entarctic

Who We Are
Entarctic is an impact-driven, innovative start-up on a mission to decarbonise the cold chain logistics industry. Our novel solution combines hardware (thermal energy storage and IoT) with software (data analytics and AI) to significantly decrease energy consumption and costs for cold storage warehouses, achieving economic benefits for our customers and environmental benefits for the planet.
We are seed funded by Engie, the largest independent power producer in the world, operating in over 70 countries on 5 continents with more than 160,000 employees worldwide.
As CPO of Entarctic, you will be in charge of developing Entarctic’s product, including discovering and implementing new technologies that yield competitive advantage. You will manage Entarctic’s product development roadmap, including timelines, procurement and supplier selection and budgeting. You will also get a chance to build, lead and nurture Entarctic’s product development team.
As Co-Founder, you will partner the CEO to make strategic technology and commercial decisions, and communicate Entarctic’s product strategy to our partners and investors.
This is an executive management role with significant equity rewards.
Who We Are Looking For
Requirements/Experience
Product management experience, preferably in the SaaS and IoT technology space.
Led teams and developed high-performing talent
Built a product from scratch using innovation methodologies (e.g. design thinking, jobs-to-be-done and lean start-up, agile/scrum) and user-centric approaches.
Demonstrable experiences of “getting things done”, particularly in areas outside your expertise.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic and uncertain environments, creating structures and systems to navigate ambiguity. Start-up experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical and/or software engineering.
