Job description for Centre Manager at I CAN READ Indonesia

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the Learning Centre, ensuring smooth administration and execution of daily activities.
  • Drive business growth by achieving sales and marketing targets, and ensuring profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed center performance goals.
  • Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Create a warm, engaging, and safe environment for students and their families.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and conducive learning environment.
  • Oversee class scheduling and manage timetables effectively.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Perform front desk duties and general administrative tasks.
  • Uphold the professional standards and values of the I CAN READ brand.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in centre management, retail management, or education operations.
  • Proven track record in sales and customer service.
  • Experience leading a team and managing performance.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive and results-driven, with the ability to achieve business targets.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
  • Warm, approachable, and customer-focused.
  • Passionate about education and child development.
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
  • Willing to work on weekends or public holidays as required by centre operations.
