The Category Manager drives sales revenues through the management of top local brands, distributors, manufacturers, and large retailers. Brand KAMs manage these shops in coordination with campaign strategy and management, graphic design teams, and onsite and offsite marketing channels. Together with the Head of KAM, you will manage the KAM team, grow brands revenue and ensure clients’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
● Managing a team of KAMs to drive NMV growth for your dedicated macro-category;
● Coaching, mentoring and developing Junior-level to Senior-level KAMs and ensuring their KPI achievement;
● Managing relationships with local brands, distributors, manufacturers, and large retailers who are key players in their respective industries;
● Developing cross-functional strategy to grow sellers and business and ensure smooth operations;
● Developing a wide assortment without losing focus on revenue growth;
● Managing pricing competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key products offered by the sellers.
Who we look for – the ideal profile:
● University degree
● Proficient in English
● Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in Ecommerce, ideally with a platform (Lazada/ Shopee), with another enabler, or with a brand or distributor
● Strong interpersonal, relationship and communication, listening and negotiation skills
● Strong ecommerce knowledge and analytical skills
● Network with ecommerce platforms in Vietnam
● Commercial performance-driven mindset, flexible & collaborative attitude, looking to make an impact and thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment
● Experience in ecommerce campaign plans
● Good excel and power point and communication skills
