Job description for Cashier - Bumi Aki Heritage Bandung at PT Bumi Aki Boga
We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our front-of-house team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced F&B environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive guest experience
- Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payment transactions using the POS system
- Process customer orders promptly and correctly
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding areas
- Assist in packaging takeaway orders
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Inform customers of current promotions or special offers
- Handle customer queries and escalate complaints when necessary
- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, ideally in F&B
- Basic math and computer/POS skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Positive attitude, with the ability to work under pressure
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Physically fit to stand for long periods and handle repetitive tasks
