Black-Knight Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable carpenter for residential and commercial interior fit-out projects.
Main Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble and install customised cabinets and furniture.
Install kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanity units, feature walls, counters and fitted furniture.
Read carpentry shop drawings, cutting lists and measurements.
Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions.
Cut, fit, laminate, trim, sand and finish carpentry works.
Install hinges, drawer runners, handles and Blum, Häfele or similar hardware.
Carry out site installation, adjustment, repair, touch-up and defect rectification.
Ensure all completed works are properly aligned, securely fixed and finished to a high standard.
Follow project instructions and workplace safety requirements.
Requirements
At least 3 years of carpentry, cabinetry, joinery or interior fit-out experience.
Able to fabricate and install customised furniture independently.
Able to read shop drawings and take accurate measurements.
Familiar with plywood, MDF, laminates and furniture hardware.
Able to operate common woodworking tools and machinery safely.
Responsible, punctual and committed to quality workmanship.
Able to work at different project sites across Singapore.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends or overtime when required.
Must be legally eligible to undertake the stated work arrangement in Singapore.
Own basic carpentry tools and transport will be advantageous.
No formal qualification is required if the applicant has strong practical experience.
