Job description for Business Development Manager at PT Petra Penida Energi Indonesia

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Business Development Manager to support our team.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management, Sales, Business Development, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Proven experience within engineering consultinng, technical consulting, or engineering services companies.
  • Possession of professional certifications or formal training in Sales and Commercial Development is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams for at least 5 years.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools and visual content development is an advantage.

What You'll Do :

  • Develop, analyze, and implement business, marketing, and sales strategies to support the company’s growth objectives (short, mid, and long term)
  • Prepare, manage, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and financial performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market potential, and prospective clients to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Lead customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives and monitor project progress through regular quality control and performance tracking.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the Business Development team to ensure operational excellence and goal achievement.
  • Prepare and present internal reports on business performance, sales achievements, strategic initiatives, KPIs, and action plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve departmental SOPs, knowledge management systems, and process streamlining initiatives.
  • Implement, monitor, and continuously improve the department’s quality management system to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Lead the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of business proposals, tenders, and commercial quotations.
  • Establish and develop strategic business partnerships to support sustainable business growth.
  • Coordinate and monitor the collection process related to client payments and outstanding receivables.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company to support business objectives and organizational needs.
